Lent is not just a spiritual stamina contest, a 40-day test to see how long we can be faithful to our resolutions in the traditional practices of prayer, fasting, and charity. 

Nothing sums up the Christian life like the golden rule.  “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” 

The readings this Sunday give us the blueprint for true and lasting happiness. 

Where do we find God in our lives?  Isaiah met the Lord in the splendor of the Temple, where Isaiah had a powerful vision of angels serving God, praising God’s holiness, and marveling at the Lord’s glory that filled the earth.
