May 28th, 2023 - Pentecost Sunday

E pluribus unum… out of the many, there is one. This is such a great motto for our country.  On Pentecost Sunday, we celebrate this sacred formula here at Ave Maria Parish and the wider Church.  St. Paul underlines this sacred formula in his first letter to the Corinthians. He says: many gifts, one Spirit; many divine workings, same Lord; many bodily parts, one Body.  The Church is made up of many unique individuals, who are bound together with threads of faith and sacramental grace and charity. Here at Ave Maria Parish and OLA School, living this gift of unity-in-diversity is our call every day. We are many players on the same team. We are many members of the same spiritual family. Out of our many people, there is oneness in Christ.
