April 20th, 2025 - Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord

Jesus’ rising from the dead set off a miraculous holy chain reaction that continues today. The resurrection has brought people to their knees in wonder and thanksgiving… has turned skeptics like Doubting Thomas into true believers… has confounded secular scientists and scholars, causing them to scratch their heads in search of proof… has become the unshakable cornerstone of the Church’s faith in Jesus as the Christ, the clinching evidence of his identity and mission… and is the reason why we celebrate this day in church and at home, because Jesus’ resurrection is the ultimate source of our hope. We all have our part in this sacred story. The resurrection has an amazing power to turn lives around, change despair into hope, and give purpose to human life. As disciples of Jesus, people who really believe and live the resurrection – men and women who exude hope in the promise of a glorious future in the Lord -- we can make a difference, be messengers of the resurrection, be precious links in the holy chain of the risen Lord.
