Stations of the Cross
Fridays throughout Lent: 7pm at Our Lady of the Assumption Church
Kick off your Lenten weekends by spending a half hour with the Lord.
If you cannot join us in person, we offer this virtual Stations of the Cross featuring the Stations at Saint Maria Goretti and Our Lady of the Assumption Churches.

Lenten Online Retreat

Lenten Food Drive
March 8-April 6 at both St. Maria Goretti and Our Lady of the Assumption Churches
During Lent we are asked to look inwards and contemplate our spiritual journey, but we must also remember look around to see those God is calling us to help. St. Vincent de Paul Society is seeking donations of non-perishable food in non-glass containers. Donations will help the efforts of My Brother’s Table in Lynn and Haven from Hunger in Peabody.

Please join us for brunch as we celebrate Ave Maria Parish's feast day, the Annunciation of the Lord.
Parish Lenten Retreat
Three Consecutive Wednesdays: March 26, April 2, April 9; 6:30pm; St. Maria Goretti Church
Join us as we endeavor to make our Lenten journey “A Pilgrimage of Hope” through the unique offerings of three evenings, all featuring our Holy Spirit Ensemble and parish lectors.
March 26: Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
April 2: Inspiration of God’s Message featuring guest speaker Fr. Bill Bucciferro, Director of the Salesians in Port Chester, NY
April 9: Reflection on the “Seven Last Words from the Cross” featuring guest soloist Susan Hagen (double bassist for the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops Orchestra)
Refreshments and fellowship will follow the April 2 and 9 events.
