"Be doers of the word” James 1:22
The Catholic Church proclaims that human life is sacred and that the dignity of the human person is the foundation of a moral vision for society. This belief is the basis of all the principles of our social teaching.
Helping the underprivileged and marginalized members of society stems from a long tradition dating back to when Christ walked the earth, healing the sick, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked. Catholics today embrace this practice in myriad ways as we continuously endeavor to put our beliefs into action.
At Ave Maria Parish, we strive to address the needs of those in our immediate community, as well as our brothers and sisters in Christ throughout the world by focusing on the Corporal Works of Mercy.
We invite you to participate! Due to current COVID restrictions and precautions, we are currently meeting on the second Saturday of every month at 9:00 am in the Parish Business Office, 17 Grove Street, Lynnfield. For those who want to participate, but can’t attend meetings, we can keep you informed via email. Let us add you to the list! Whether you’ve prayed for us, donated financially, or shared your time and talents to support our work… WE THANK YOU!
