"Jesus said, 'Let the children come to me...for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'" Matthew 19:14
All families must be registered parishioners of Ave Maria to enroll in the faith formation program. It is through a family’s active participation and support of parish life that we are able to provide them with the information and tools they need to pass on the experience of a living, explicit, and fruitful faith to their children.
Without the dedication and support of parents of children in the Faith Formation and Youth Ministry Programs, as well as other adult parishioners, we could not provide for the faith formation needs of the parish community. We encourage your participation and offer a variety of opportunities to model your faith to the next generation. Click here for the Top 10 Reasons to Become a Catechist. For more information on volunteering, please contact Jamie Bossi or Robyn Yannone.
Because of the ongoing and systematic nature of catechesis, students are expected to attend faith formation classes continuously from Grades 1 through 10 in order to receive a complete foundation in the faith. Each year, your child is introduced to a different aspect of our faith in a grade-appropriate format, to create an ever-deepening appreciation for its richness.
