A Different Kind of Community Garden

July 1, 2024 - July 31, 2024Location: Both St. Maria Goretti and Our Lady of the Assumption ChurchesCalling all gardeners! Not sure what to do with the surplus vegetables from your garden this summer? The Justice for Jesus ministry is collecting zucchini, summer squash, and cucumbers in July. A basket will be left in the foyer of both churches. The produce will be donated to the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry. Other vegetables may be added to the list later in the season. This is a wonderful opportunity to share God’s bountiful blessing with others and practice the Corporal Work of Mercy to feed the hungry.
